Terms and Conditions of Booking
We really try to keep these to a minimum and please have a read of them.
 

  1. Prices above are from Saturday to Saturday in season. Please check with us for off season breaks and split week prices. These are 3 days minimum and from £135 for 2 persons.
  2. Properties are available from 2.00pm on day of arrival.
    Departure time is by 10.00am
  3. Deposit: 25%of total amount to be paid with booking. We will then send confirmation of the booking. The balance due 21 days prior to arrival. If booked within 4 weeks, please send full payment with reservation. For very late bookings if not using PayPal or bank transfer, full  payment in cash on arrival please before entry to property.
  4. Please check availability before sending deposit, so we may enter a provisional booking. This must be confirmed in writing/booking form with deposit within 5 days to avoid cancellation.
  5. Payments by cheque, Bank transfer (account on request) or debit/credit cards via PayPal (PayPal membership not required to use)
  6. Please make cheques payable to W. Oliver Allen & Sons.
  7. It is advisable to obtain a Holiday Insurance Policy to cover your holiday booking in the event of having to cancel. Cancellation will result in a charge of 95% of the cost of the accommodation, in the event of us being unable to re-let the property. If any monies are refunded then this will incur a £20 administration fee plus any other costs incurred to re-let the accommodation.
  8. Bedding is in the form of Duvets with spare blankets available. We provide the linen for these. If you do require any additional sheets these are not provided. Towels are not provided
  9. An additional charge of £25.00 per person per week if the property is required for more than the number of persons quoted.
  10. We have one cot, high chair and stair gate and these are available free of charge on a first come basis.
  11. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at our discretion with prior consent at £10.00 per dog and on the condition that:
    a: They are not left unattended in the property and allowed to sit on the furniture or beds or blankets. Including the well behaved ones.
    b: Please consider others and ensure your dog is washed and de-flea’d before arrival and tidy up after them inside with regards hairs, smells etc
    c: Kept on their lead in the car park and our grounds (we have pets, also roaming around).
    d: Sorry, 2 dogs maximum (depending on size) and certain breeds not accepted
    Please let us know your dogs breed. A charge of £20 per dog is levied if we are unaware of its arrival or even entry refused to the property. Also if on departure additional cleaning is required. Sorry no other pets accepted. Please view Paws For Thought
  12. Any breakages or damage to be paid for before departure.
  13. Accommodation to be left clean and in the general order that it is found.
  14. Please do not smoke inside the accommodation and do not use any candles, night lights and any other naked flames in the accommodation.
  15. The properties are all electric and are provided by slot meters operated by £1.00 coin. Rather than increase the tariff rate to compensate usage, we have stayed with this for 2016. The meter rate is set below our cost price. We always put a few £'s in to start and the cost is generally about £5 (often less) per week.
  16. Night storage heating is included free of charge in the cooler seasons.
  17. Keys can be collected from our office on Loe Bar Road or at Beachfield House on arrival. These and the properties are located on a map that included with your booking.
  18. We provide free off road parking for each property in a marked space in our own car park. If you are bringing two cars there is room to park one in front of the other. But please let us know beforehand. We have a very good safety record but parking is at the car owner’s risk.
  19. WiFi. We provide free WiFi to our guests via a BT hub in our office with range boosters. The signal that should reach somewhere in all properties but not necessarily in all rooms of all the accommodation. For all users benefit we would grateful not to use high bandwidth/streaming downloads as it is not suitable for this - downloading films, tv programmes, internet radio, online gaming etc. Please ask for the password when required.
