The Cornish flag of St. Piran, representing a cross of tin on rock. St. Piran is the patron saint of tin miners and of Cornwall. His day -March 5th - is celebrated throughout the county with the focus on a service and procession to the site of his church at Perranporth sands.

Cornwall Spring Flower Show is renowned for its wonderful displays – with a wide range of competitive classes that include ornamental trees and shrubs, magnolias, camellias, rhododendrons, daffodils, herbaceous plants, bulbs, pot plants, alpines, photography and floral art.
As well as many trade stands selling plants and garden related items.

1st May Padstow Obby Oss: is reputed to be the oldest dance festival in the country. It is a festival to mark the coming of Summer. The town is decked with flags, greenery and flowers. (Always 1st May unless 1st on Sunday, then 2nd May)

May Day Celebrations starting at 11.00 am with parade and maypole dancing, may horn and may sticks. May king and queen. Music from local bands, stalls, street entertainment from Skylarks, tug o war, hake run race and lots more.
Helston "beating of the Bounds" Walk the boundary's of Helston. The ancient ritual of Beating the Bounds is one that has been in existence since the Second Charter of Queen Elizabeth in 1585. 2019 15th Murdoch Day - Redruth
Each year, in mid-June, Redruth celebrates its most famous citizen, inventor William Murdoch, with an exciting programme of events including children's dance and art procession, all day music and entertainment, a street market, old time fair, exhibitions and a variety of live concerts and other events round the town.

2019 21-30 June Golowan Festival in Penzance
A celebration of the Feast of St John and of ancient summer Celtic traditions, including dances, street theatre, firework displays, music etc. Mazey Day will be on Saturday 25 June. The Festival culminates in Sea and Sail Day on 24 June with the ancient serpent dance through the streets.

National Dahlia Collection - Varfell farm, nr Penzance
The Dahlia Garden is open daily between 9am to 5pm from mid-July to the end of September usually on an “open but unattended basis” at no charge. The opening period may be extended to October pending weather conditions and the Dahlia’s remaining in flower Car parking is also free and is immediately adjacent to the garden. Should the garden be unattended during your visit there are plants for sale with an “honesty box” in the adjacent tunnel. Disabled Access ~ The Collection is located in a field with grass walkways and consequently the terrain can be soft at times depending on the weather conditions.  There is ample width for access as we aim to make your visit as comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. There are toilet facilities located on site for your convenience. Dogs on leads are welcome, but please clear up after them and use the waste bins provided.
Please note, this is a working farm and any closed gates must be closed behind you. On the farm premises and particularly in the entrance and gate ways be aware of the moving farm vehicles and equipment. You are on the premises at your own risk

St Agnes Carnival - St Agnes
The St. Agnes Carnival tradition dates back well over a hundred years, to the time when the village streets would have been lined with miners and fishermen, bal-maidens and fishwives.
You will see lots of fancy dress, local bands and people of all ages having a great time! Clever floats, great ingenuity, even dance routines, all led by the famous Giant Bolster!

One of the main attractions is the Wednesday evening display of the Red Arrows Aerobatic Team.
West of England Steam Rally, Stithians Showground. TR3 7HL
Largest steam rally in the South West with over 100 steam engines.
Pirates on the Prom - Penzance Promenade 12noon - 7pm
Right you dogs its time to weigh anchor and set sail for Penzance. 15,000 pirates needed to break the Guinness World Record "largest gathering of pirates". No land lubbers, so dress appropriate to count! (see website for details). £2 donation, profits in aid of the RNLI. Lots of entertainment going on as well. Be there or get tipped the black spot!
2019 Bank Holiday Monday Porthleven Torchlight Procession.
Held annually on the August Bank Holiday at dusk. Hundreds of torches parade around the village and harbour to the sound of Porthleven's Town Band. Open to all and torches available at the harbour market.
Bank Holiday Monday Newlyn Fish Festival - a celebration of this major port's importance in terms of the fishing industry. The fish market is filled with stalls, cookery demonstrations, exhibitions and displays relating to fishing heritage as well as Celtic entertainment.
August Bank holiday weekend Mullion Scarecrow Spectacular
The 9th year and 60+ scarecrows will be on display all over Mullion in shops, hotels, businesses and homes. This years theme "On Telly"
Trail leaflets at £1 from the Methodist chapel will then be available to find and identify the scarecrows. Entries enter for prize judging on Tuesday. Food will be served every day in the Methodist chapel schoolroom.
Helston Harvest Fair Weekend- Helston
Family pet and dog show at the Football club on the 2nd. Horticultural show at the Old Cattle Market on the 3rd. Also Carnival judging 4.45pm and leaving 6pm from the Tesco car park.

Annual Show held on the Lemon Quay. The annual Primestock Show is a favourite with farmers and families alike. Lemon Quay will be filled with cattle and sheep as the best Cornish beasts are judged. Livestock will be sold and leave by 3pm, but the event is open until the evening  Also displays of vegetable and baking.
